Getting Started

Welcome to the KillerSkills documentation. KillerSkills is an AI fluency platform that helps knowledge workers build practical AI skills for their role — through guided workflows, a hands-on practice workspace, and a fluency tracking system.

What is KillerSkills?

KillerSkills closes the gap between “I should use AI more” and actually doing it. The platform provides step-by-step AI workflows tailored to 12 professional roles — from software developers and product managers to marketers, designers, and executives. You practice with synthetic data in a safe workspace, earn fluency points, and build a provable track record of AI competency.

Key Concepts

Workflows

A workflow is a practical, repeatable AI playbook for a specific task. Each workflow includes a situation, step-by-step instructions, AI prompts, expected outputs, and a difficulty rating (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). Workflows are matched to your role so you practice what you'll actually use at work.

The Workspace

The workspace is where you practice workflows. Each session generates a realistic scenario with synthetic data — a fake company, fake context, real-feeling situation. You follow the steps, run AI prompts, and see real output without touching your actual work. Once comfortable, you can switch to live mode and use your own data.

Fluency Score

Every completed workflow earns fluency points based on difficulty: beginner (10 pts), intermediate (25 pts), advanced (50 pts). Build a daily streak for a multiplier up to 2x. Your fluency score becomes a credential — a provable measure of your AI competency across domains like prompting, data analysis, content creation, and automation.

Getting Started

  1. Sign up with email, GitHub, Google, or LinkedIn at killerskills.ai/login
  2. Pick your role during onboarding — choose from 12 categories (software developer, product manager, designer, marketer, data analyst, and more) and your seniority level
  3. Practice workflows matched to your role in the workspace with synthetic data
  4. Earn fluency points and build streaks to track your progress over time
  5. Go live — bring workflows to your real work when you're confident

The Marketplace

KillerSkills also includes a full marketplace of AI agent skills, personas, and plugins. Skills are structured instruction files (SKILL.md) that define capabilities for AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot. Personas bundle skills with personality profiles to create specialized agent configurations. Plugins provide tool integrations from multiple AI ecosystems.

Developer Integrations

For developers and AI agent builders, KillerSkills provides programmatic access to marketplace content:

  • Agent API — REST API for agents to self-register, discover skills, install them, and publish new ones
  • MCP Server — Model Context Protocol integration for native tool discovery in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and compatible runtimes

Security

KillerSkills enforces security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options) on all responses, sanitizes user-generated content to prevent XSS, rate-limits public endpoints, and encrypts API keys at rest with AES-256-GCM. Sessions expire after 7 days. For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Security FAQ.
